OJ Simpson & Nicole Brown Simpson Pt. 2: Unnecessary Roughness

In episode 22 of The Astrology Of… Podcast, we truck along with our series on OJ Simpson and Nicole Brown Simpson, the biggest trial in pop culture history. We discuss the tender complexity of Nicole's birth chart, the shadow work implications of OJ Simpson's birth chart, and dig ever deeper into the dark side of Lilith. We observe how Nicole’s disposition was highly influenced by her environment, often second guessing her intuition due to social pressures, and how OJ Simpson's Sun in the 12th house veiled his identity and clearly led to misuse of ego energy. 

• We start by focusing on the surviving name of Nicole, noting her Sun in Taurus, her Moon in Libra, and her Pisces Rising, which we think is a sweet combination. Then we delved deeper into her chart, noting her square between her Sun and Chiron which indicated a vulnerability, and her Grand Cross, which was composed of her Sun, Jupiter, Pluto and Chiron. This aspect was noted as creating tension, struggle and difficulty for Nicole.
• Then we move on to the astrology of OJ Simpson, an acquitted murderer. OJ's Sun in the twelfth house veils the identity and may lead to misused ego if the person is not ready to surrender and do ego death shadow work.
• We side track a little bit to discuss Lillith, touching on her mythology, her 'baby eating' reputation, and her connection to dark female empowerment, but how it always comes with a cost.
• Refocusing on OJ, we observe the influence of Saturn and Pluto in his first house, as well as the conjunction of Venus and Uranus in Gemini which gave him a certain charm. We also hit on the racial divides he represented across fans and supporters, and the internalized racism of the Hollywood collective, especially around that time.
