Paul Bernardo & Karla Homolka Pt. 2: The Love That Dare Not Speak Its Name

In episode 18, we dive into the black hole that is the astrological placements of infamous criminals and killers, Paul Bernardo and Karla Homolka. • Saturn in Pisces in Paul’s 7th house of partnerships and relationships caused a lot of projection of his inner conflict onto his interactions with others. His Aries moon is noted to be an indication of his strong sense of self-acceptance and lack of emotional brakes.
• Lilith becomes a major player in not just Paul and Karla’s charts, but all charts to come as Laurel shares what they’ve been learning about the seductress of unbridled creative willpower and connects the dots on Paul’s Lilith placement as one of the most potent and dangerous forces in his birth chart.
• We move the focus to Karla and her Sun in Taurus, Moon in Aries, and Capricorn Rising, as well as her Mars and Venus in Gemini. This Mars and Venus aspect can have positive implications for the energy of the wound (Chiron), but can also signify a difficulty maintaining perspective when it comes to relationships and sex.
• More Lilith talk, but for Karla, make it square her Sun and Saturn. We discuss the difficulty of taking responsibility for dark desires and the importance of learning to deal with trauma and turning darkness into hope for the future... But looks like Karla didn't get the memo early enough.
